Founded in 1956, Vektor AG became one of the leading industry solution providers for hydraulics and compressed air. Vektor’s primary business focus has been on hydraulics and its applications ranging from hydraulic control, hydraulic press to hydraulic power units in all sizes. From this base, Vektor also offered compressed air compressed air solutions and air-valve applications. Vektors had a diverse customer base in industry and commerce, as well as health care and research. By 2016, Tectus had divested these activities to leading Swiss industry groups whereby the operations of Vektor have been fully integrated into these organizations.
