The team at the House of Dior had tested many brands of bottled water and found Icelandic Glacial to be the only one on the market which possessed the qualities and purity needed for Dior to use in their product.

One of the largest natural springs in the world, Iceland’s Ölfus Spring is continually replenished by the gradual filtration of rain, snow and ice melt water from the mountains. Each day, 900,000m3 of water overflows into the sea – more than twice the total volume of bottled water consumed globally. Icelandic Water is bottled in a ‘clean room’ bottling facility – constructed to standards only normally seen within the pharmaceutical industry – at the source of the Ölfus Spring. Capable of producing up to 30,000 bottles per hour, the plant covers 71,688ft2 and is one of the world’s cleanest and greenest – it operates entirely on geothermal and hydroelectric power. The team at Ölfus is now working on a variety of innovations which the company will be launching to consumers in the near future and these are expected to include facial sprays, cosmetics and functional beverages.
